Sting is set to headline the NFL's Super Bowl concert series in February 2026, just in time to build excitement among fans ahead of the games. The NFL's hospitality provider, On Location, announced the news on Tuesday, October 28. While details about the concert are still scarce, the Grammy winner shared more information on his official website. The concert will take place on the first day of the Super Bowl concert series, Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The announcement also hinted that it will be an "intimate" performance."The intimate setting serves as an opportunity to see Sting up close and personal." His touring band, including Dominic Miller on guitar and Chris Maas on drums, will join him onstage.Aside from the Grammy winner's performance, the event will offer additional perks, such as various packages and a chance to meet and greet NFL legends and current players. They will perform their final show in Europe and the UK in London's Hammersmith Apollo on Tuesday, October 28, before returning to the US. Starting November 7, the trio will do back-to-back shows at Hollywood's Hard Rock Cafe before moving to various cities. However, more US concerts are planned, with additional shows scheduled for mid-2026, and new dates have been added. On October 13, they announced two more concerts for their June 2026 European tour, bringing the trio to Prague and Vilnius. Two days later, they added another date in France for July 2026. Alongside the STING 3.0 tour, the legendary musician will also perform in Amsterdam, Paris, Brisbane, and Queensland with his musical The Last Ship, from January to April 2026. The show is a tribute to his hometown, the shipyards of Newcastle.
