There is no official confirmation yet, but Diddy's son, King Combs, has a hopeful two-word response when asked if his father is coming out earlier than expected. The rapper has been incarcerated since September 2024 on charges of s*x trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, among others. He is scheduled for release on June 4, 2028.

However, King Combs said that his father is "gonna be on the way home" during an interview with TMZ at LAX on Monday morning, November 24. When asked if President Donald Trump could potentially give Diddy a presidential pardon, he said:

"Fingers crossed."

He doubled down on his hopeful response, adding that his father "will be home soon." King Combs also said that he frequently talks to his father and shared that he's "doing good" in prison.

Regarding the presidential pardon of the rapper, the White House had previously denied reports that Trump was considering it. In an August 1 interview with Rob Finnerty for Newsmax, Trump called the rapper "half-innocent" and said that he doesn't know "what they do that he's still in jail or something."

One of Diddy's attorneys also told CNN on August 5 that his camp reached out to Trump for a pardon, which the US President also confirmed in October. However, a White House official told US Weekly in mid-October that there is no truth about Trump considering commuting the rapper's sentence.

A rare video footage shares the first glimpse of Sean "Diddy" Combs's daily life behind bars at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He's currently serving a 50-month prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, and the TMZ-obtained clip shows a rare glimpse of his work duties, prison interactions, and life while in custody.

In the clip first shared by TMZ, the rapper can be seen removing his blue jacket and scarf while talking to another inmate inside the prison's media library. Another clip showed him exiting the media library with his jacket and headphones on. There's also a brief footage of him in a prison hallway, walking with an inmate pushing a black cart.

In all of the videos that surfaced, Diddy looks unrecognizable with his gray hair and a lengthy beard. His representatives have not commented about the video yet, but according to FCI Fort Dix, per The Economic Times, they "did not produce or authorize the release of this video."

He has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since he was arrested in September 2024. However, he was transferred to Fort Dix in October 2025 after receiving his 50-month sentence. He was pictured in the yard at Fort Dix with several other inmates shortly after the move, and one of the inmates he was chatting with was former NBA star Sebastian Telfair.
