Cardi B announced the birth of her child with Stefon Diggs on Thursday, November 13. This is her first child with the New England Patriots wide receiver. She has three children with her ex-partner, Offset.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, made her relationship with Diggs public in May of this year. They announced her pregnancy in September. On Thursday, the rapper revealed that she gave birth to a baby boy through her posts and stories on Instagram. She shared a video of herself along with a lengthy caption, part of which read:

"My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world!

"A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve," she added.

Rumors about Cardi B and Stefon Diggs being in a relationship began circulating last year. In May 2025, they attended the New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics game during the NBA Playoffs together and sat courtside, confirming the rumors.

Cardi B confirms sex of her baby with Stefon Diggs, says she will now prepare for her tour

Cardi uploaded a video of a stroller with a floral design on her Instagram story on Thursday, November 13. In the video, the rapper says in the background:

“I just had a boy … why didn’t I know about this [stroller] last year?”

Cardi B also confirmed that she has already started preparing for her upcoming tour now, both physically and mentally. The rapper's Little Miss Drama Tour will support her second studio album, Am I the Drama?, which was released on September 19 of this year. The tour is set to begin on February 11, 2026, at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert and will continue until April 18, 2026.

Cardi wrote on Instagram:

"This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour getting my body right getting my mind right. There’s nothing thats gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a life time! I’ve learned i’ve healed, and im loving the woman i’ve become! Thats what this next era means to me and i’m stepping into it better than ever."

In her video on Instagram announcing the birth of her son, Cardi added Hello, a track from Am I The Drama?, as the background song.
