DJ Akademiks recently reacted to Megan Thee Stallion winning her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Cooper, aka Milagro Gramz, after the rapper accused Cooper of harassing and defaming her online in the wake of her 2020 shooting incident with Tory Lanez. In the lawsuit, filed in October 2024, Megan Thee Stallion claimed that Milagro Cooper conspired with Tory Lanez, who is currently in prison for the shooting incident, and acted as Lanez's “paid surrogate” and “mouthpiece” during and after his trial.On December 1, 2025, a Florida judge ruled in favor of Megan after a federal panel of five men and four women backed the rapper's claim. Cooper was initially ordered to pay $75,000, but Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga reportedly reduced it to $59,000.Following the verdict, DJ Akademiks took to Rumble to discuss the trial and accused Megan Thee Stallion of perpetuating the same offense as Milagro Cooper. The media personality also said that it motivated him to figure out if he had been bullied by Megan Thee Stallion or her fans, saying:"And I said, 'Wow, if that's good enough to file a lawsuit, does anybody ever say mean words to Akademiks? They do it all the time. Has Meg ever said some mean words to me? Absolutely. I'm not gonna lie to you. And I remember this very clearly.
