As per a new TMZ report, Celeste Rivas' body was found in a terrible condition in D4vd's car. Her body was reportedly frozen, with some body parts even removed before being put into the car.
On September 8 this year, the body of a young girl was found in a Tesla car in Los Angeles. The car was registered to singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The girl's name was later determined to be Celeste Rivas, who was found the day after she would've turned 15.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported on November 22 that the authorities discovered the body in a terrible condition in the car. Rivas' body was reportedly frozen after death, and her limbs were removed from her body before being cut into pieces. The body was in the car for at least a few days and had been thawing.
As per TMZ's source, the body's condition makes it tough to find the cause of death. They reported:
"It [cause of death] will most likely be 'undetermined.'"
Notably, the authorities are still working on trying to figure out whether Rivas' death was a homicide or a drug overdose. They also added D4vd to the suspect list earlier this month, though he doesn't face any charges yet. A second suspect has reportedly also been discovered, who allegedly helped Burke dismember Rivas' body.
LAPD captain had previously confirmed Celeste Rivas' body was in D4vd's car for weeks before being discovered

LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams had told PEOPLE on September 28 that the body was in the car for weeks. He added that the cause of death hadn't been determined, but they are investigating all possible angles.
Williams said:
"We know for sure that Celeste Rivas Hernandez died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke's Tesla. We know that the Tesla had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so it is very likely Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been dead for several weeks prior to her body being discovered."
"The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not determined a cause or manner of her death, so we don't know for sure if anyone has any criminal culpability for her death beyond the concealment of her dead body," he added.
After Rivas was found in D4vd's car, multiple reported connections between the two were discovered. A tattoo that read "Shh..." was found on her finger, the same as the singer's. Moreover, her mother told TMZ that her daughter had been dating a man named David. She, however, didn't confirm if it was the singer or not. Rivas was missing since April 2024, as per the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
As per NBC News, Burke has not been cooperating with the police department, despite his lawyer previously claiming he was. The singer has now been named a suspect in the case. Moreover, as per TMZ, the LAPD are "viewing Celeste's death as a homicide" despite the cause of death being undetermined so far.
