Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have reportedly ended their relationship after more than a decade together. The couple initially had an on-and-off relationship but had reportedly been together since the mid-2010s.

According to AllHipHop, the decision had been in the works for some time and wasn't made impulsively. This is because Aiko wanted to get married, while Big Sean reportedly wasn't ready to tie the knot.

The couple shares a daughter, Noah Hasani, born in November 2022. They met in 2012 and have been dating steadily since around 2016. They also collaborated on music, most notably the album Twenty88, released on April 1, 2016.

Big Sean appeared on the Out of Context podcast with Charlamagne Tha God on August 2, 2024. On the show, the host asked the singer-songwriter why he hadn't married Jhene Aiko yet. He answered:

“It's a little personal, you know what I mean? But just like to be real with you, just like any people who have dealt with love, we've had our ups and downs, you know what I'm saying? And I think it's still finding the right navigation through it all.”
“To me, marriage symbolizes like the best relationship ... I would like to, and I don't like putting our personal business out there like that either, but there's a lot of work that needs to be done," he added.

Sean also mentioned the high divorce rates. However, Charlamagne Tha God highlighted his marriage to Jessica Gadsden since 2014 and explained that there will always be ups and downs.
