You, Me & Tuscany cast & characters: Meet the stars behind the film and the roles they play

You, Me & Tuscany is an American romantic comedy from director Kat Coiro, penned by Ryan Engle, and filmed at the stunning Amalfi Coast in Italy. The story centers on a young cook whose life becomes wildly out of control after she takes over an abandoned villa in Tuscany and subsequently becomes embroiled in complicated personal relationships, developing a romantic storyline.

Universal Pictures is going to release You, Me & Tuscany in the United States on April 10, 2026.

Several international actors are featured in the project lineup, led by Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page. The filming took place in several locations along the Amalfi Coast, where the film was shot.

Before being renamed to You, Me & Tuscany in late 2025, the film was formerly titled Italianna.

Who stars in You, Me & Tuscany?

1) Halle Bailey as Anna

In the film You, Me & Tuscany, Halle Bailey plays the role of Anna, a character central to the storyline, a young cook whose life took an unexpected turn when she squatted in an abandoned Tuscan villa.

Bailey is an American singer-songwriter and actress who gained fame primarily as one of the two halves of the musical duo Chloe x Halle, alongside her sister Chloe Bailey.

The pair garnered five Grammy nominations for two studio albums. As a performer, Bailey was seen in Grown-ish and had her first major film lead as Ariel in Disney’s 2023 live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

Later, she was featured in The Color Purple (2023), where she contributed both acting and musical performances. Bailey started her solo music career with singles like Angel and released her first album Love?... or Something Like It, in 2025.

2) Regé-Jean Page as Michael

Regé-Jean Page plays the role of Michael, a cousin of a Tuscan homeowner whose villa becomes the setting for the plot of You, Me & Tuscany. Page is a British actor who found worldwide fame playing the Duke of Hastings in the first season of Netflix’s Bridgerton.

For this role, he was honored with an NAACP Image Award and Emmy nomination. In his earlier career, he was involved in Roots (2016), For the People (2018–2019), and BBC’s Waterloo Road. A

fterwards, he made a major transition to large screen roles. He can be seen in The Gray Man (2022), Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023), and Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag (2025).

3) Lorenzo de Moor as Matteo

Lorenzo de Moor plays the part of Matteo in You, Me & Tuscany. De Moor is a Dutch-Italian actor who grew up in Tuscany and later received his training at the Stella Adler Academy in New York.

His first screen projects were the Polish drama Dolce Fine Giornata (2019). Later, he appeared in the Italian series Pezzi unici and the movie Robbing Mussolini (2022). He has worked on various European TV and film productions, gaining popularity with the docudrama Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints and the Netflix series Btigands: The Quest for Gold.

Among De Moor’s 2025 credits are the roles of a supporting character in Another Simple Favor and the British TV series The Iris Affair.
