It is said that the latest arrest happened on the weekend and is a cause for a breach of probation of Bryan's existing probation. This clause refers to his domestic violence-related conviction. The sequence of events that led to the former child star’s legal troubles has reached new heights, as he has found himself in court repeatedly since 2020.

The 43-year-old actor is undertaking a three-year probation period as penal condition of a 2023 case. From the documents, it appears that on Saturday, Bryan was apprehended and bail was denied. So, he will have to stay in jail until at least December 3.

Bryan's arrest is a result of his alleged violation of the terms of his probation. But the probation was already due to a domestic violence-related conviction. The actor is halfway through his three-year probation period, which will last until October 2026.

Considering that Bryan has been warned already that if he does not abide by the conditions of his probation, he might get a jail sentence, this is quite a significant step up from the previous level of his legal problems.

This is not the first time; the series of legal problems that Bryan has had in Oregon started in 2020, when he and Cartwright were involved in a violent incident, which was reportedly caused by excessive drinking.

Later on, he was found guilty of menacing, for which the court handed him probation. In the meantime, Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested in different places. Various past charges against him include DUII in Oklahoma and accusations of assault and strangulation in South Carolina.
