Written and directed by James Vanderbilt, Nuremberg is a historical drama film which is based on the 2013 book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai.
Scheduled for a release on November 7, 2025, the narrative follows psychiatrist Douglas Kelly (played by Rami Malek), who is put in charge of assessing the Nazi high command Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) to decide whether the latter is fit to stand trial in the Nuremberg trials.
The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2025, received a four-minute-long standing ovation at the festival. It also features Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Mark O'Brien, Colin Hanks, Wrenn Schmidt, Lydia Peckham, Richard E. Grant, and Michael Shannon in supporting roles alongside other cast members.
