The third installment in the magic-heist franchise, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, brings back the original Four Horsemen: J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), and the returning Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher), nearly a decade after their last trick in Now You See Me 2 (2016).
They are pulled back into action by a mysterious directive from The Eye, the secret society of magicians, and are tasked with stealing the world's largest diamond, the "Heart Diamond," from the villainous Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), a ruthless diamond mogul who uses her company as a front to launder money for global crime syndicates.
The Horsemen reluctantly team up with a younger, equally skilled trio of magicians, namely, Bosco (Dominic Sessa), Charlie (Justice Smith), and June (Ariana Greenblatt), to pull off this heist and expose Vanderberg's corruption to the world.

Now You See Me: Now You Don't reveals the young Charlie as the mastermind behind the major heist
Charlie's main role in the events of Now You See Me: Now You Don't, where he orchestrates the grand heist to expose his half-sister, Veronika, and potentially pave his way into the ranks of the Eye.
Charlie, working from the shadows, planned the entire sequence of events to achieve this goal. While the public focus was on the spectacular magic of the Horsemen, the true intention was a carefully planned operation targeting his family, using the magicians as necessary pawns to execute the final steps.
This plan had been unfolding for fifteen years, set in motion the moment Charlie walked away from the crash the world believed had killed him. His true identity is finally revealed: he is a Vanderberg, born to Veronika’s father and the family’s former housekeeper, adding a personal layer to the motivations fueling his long-crafted revenge.
To accomplish his plan, he sent a personalized invitation to the original members, subtly luring them into his new plot. Charlie made sure he had the extremely talented magicians needed to pull off the extremely challenging tricks required to expose Veronika's true identity and activities to the public by enlisting these Horsemen.
The entire operation had been crafted to end in that final, fateful vault encounter. When Veronika came face-to-face with Charlie, stripped of the noise, the tricks, and the chaos, there was nowhere left for the truth to hide. Veronika had lived for fifteen years believing that Charlie had died.
The hints he had scattered along the way crashed together in her mind, and in a single, devastating moment, she understood: the accident that claimed his life had been nothing but a carefully staged deception as he survived. She then connected his survival to the staged accident which killed Charlie's mother.
During the conclusion of Now You See Me: Now You Don't, Charlie lured Veronica into the vault under the illusion that she was about to claim the Heart Diamond there. However, he coaxed her into confessing everything, revealing that she had just implicated herself in murder and other serious crimes on a permanent recording.
This final trick that revealed her true nature and dealings to the world and resulted in her imprisonment.
