A video of actress Tara Reid slouched in a wheelchair and then in a stretcher as paramedics moved her from a hotel lobby to a nearby ambulance went viral and sparked speculations about what happened to the American Pie actress. An onlooker was able to capture the distressing incident on Sunday morning, November 23.Rosemont Public Safety's spokesperson confirmed to People that there was a call from the DoubleTree hotel in the Chicago area requesting an ambulance for "a sick person." In a video interview with TMZ on November 24, Tara Reid claimed that she was roofied while at the Chicago hotel bar. She said:"I went back to the bar, and my drink was covered up with a napkin. I thought that was weird, because I didn't put that over my drink. [And] without even finishing my drink, I just passed out. She mentioned seeing a Mexican woman watching over her at the hospital, which made her "confused" and think she was in another country. I can't even explain it, because I don't even know what happened."But despite the alarming incident, the actress is back on the job. She said that her agent picked her up from the hospital, and they went to the signing she was scheduled to do in Chicago. However, she also gave a stern warning to everyone after the "really scary" incident that happened to her. She said:"A lot of things could have gone really, really, really wrong. So this is a thing that everyone should be aware about. Cause I don't know what that stuff was, but whatever it is knocked me out."She also said that there wasn't much explanation from the hospital about what specific drug was put in her drink, only that she was drugged. Tara Reid added that she was "glad" that it happened in a public place and there were security to help her.
