Paul Feig's upcoming psychological thriller The Housemaid, featuring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, is now only days away from its theatrical release. The film, which is based on the 2022 novel by Freida McFadden, also features Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone, and Elizabeth Perkins, among other actors.
Distributed by Lionsgate movies, The Housemaid's final trailer was dropped on December 15, 2025, ahead of the film's December 19 release. The film's plot revolves around Sweeney's character, Millie Calloway, who gets hired by the wealthy Winchester family to be their housemaid in their luxe mansion located on Long Island.

The latest and final trailer of The Housemaid features some fresh visuals from the upcoming psychological thriller film. Like the previous trailers, Sweeney's character Millie is shown arriving at the Winchester's, where she is greeted by Nina (Amanda Seyfried).
She is hired as the mansions's housemaid and is seen cleaning the floors, kitchen, etc. However, things soon begin to twist around her as things start to unfold. The trailer, featuring quick disturbing visuals, establishes the secrets hidden under the luxurious facade of the Winchester family.
Who are in the cast of The Housemaid?

Paul Feig's The Housemaid is mainly led by Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. Sweeney is one of Hollywood's fastest-rising young stars, who rose to popularity for her role as Cassie Howard in the hit HBO series Euphoria. She also received an Emmy nomination for her role in the first season of The White Lotus.
More recently, Sydney Sweeney played the former American female boxer Christy Martin in the biographical sports drama film, Christy. The Eden star will also appear in the comedy sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026).
Playing the other lead, Nina Winchester, Amanda Seyfried is also a popular face in the Hollywood. She is widely known for her singing and dancing as Sophie Sheridan in the movie musical Mamma Mia! and its sequel.
She also appeared as Karen Smith in the classic high school comedy film Mean Girls. Seyfried recently won an Emmy Award for playing the troubled real-life figure Elizabeth Holmes in the dramatic series The Dropout. She is also set to appear in the upcoming historical musical drama The Testament of Ann Lee this year.
The lead male role of Andrew, the wealthy husband, is played by Brandon Sklenar, who is well-known for playing Spencer Dutton in the Western TV series 1923, a popular prequel to Yellowstone. He also recently starred as Atlas Corrigan in the film adaptation of the hit novel It Ends with Us. Other actors in the cast include Elizabeth Perkins as Andrew's mother and Michele Morrone as the groundskeeper, Enzo.
