A major casting announcement has confirmed Hunter Schafer (Euphoria, Cuckoo), Emma Corrin (The Crown, Deadpool & Wolverine), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me), and Havana Rose Liu (Bottoms) joining director Arkasha Stevenson’s upcoming untitled new horror film for A24.
The project is generating significant buzz as it marks the next directorial venture for Stevenson, who recently earned critical acclaim for the chilling prequel, The First Omen. She will be directing from a script she co-wrote with her frequent collaborator, Tim Smith.

Hunter Schafer’s is best known as Jules Vaughn in the HBO teen drama series, Euphoria (2019-present). Her compelling portrayal of the complex high school student earned her critical praise and established her as a major talent in the industry.

Since her debut, she has garnered further celebrated roles, notably playing Tigris Snow in the high-profile prequel film, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023). She also received recognition for her starring role as Gretchen in the 2024 horror-thriller, Cuckoo.
Meanwhile, Emma Corrin shot to fame with their portrayal of Lady Diana Spencer in the fourth season of Netflix’s historical drama, The Crown (2020). This role earned them a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination.
Their celebrated career has expanded across film and stage since then. Notable roles include playing the titular character in the West End production of Orlando, starring as Lady Constance Chatterley in Lady Chatterley's Lover (2022), and their villainous turn as Cassandra Nova in the major superhero film, Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
On the other hand, the film features other rising stars such as Sophie Wilde and Havana Rose Liu in its ensemble cast. Wilde rose to popularity for her performance in the Australian supernatural horror film Talk to Me (2022). Rose Liu, who has several upcoming projects, is popular for her performance in the comedy film, Bottoms.
While A24 is keeping the official title, synopsis, release dates and other details under secrecy, reports suggest the film centers on a bachelor party that spirals into terror.
In addition to Hunter Schafer, Emma Corrin, and others, the ensemble cast is expected to feature prominent actors like Josh Hutcherson, Frank Dillane, Caleb Landry Jones, and Whitmer Thomas.
