It is Anna, his afterlife coordinator, portrayed by Da'Vine Joy Randolph, who assists him here and also lays down the law: one week, one choice, and no return.Joan comes not long after that, also rejuvenated. However, unlike any other newcomer, she is told that the decision has to be made between two eternities, i.e., one with Larry and the other with Luke. Luke, who had been killed during the Korean War in the 1950s, has never let go of the past, nor has he chosen an afterlife.He is still at the Junction, albeit doing his work and waiting for her to come back.
