The Annual Critics Choice Awards officially kicks off the new year's award season, celebrating the best in film and television. Popular comedian Chelsea Handler will host the 2026 Critics Choice Awards ceremony, which will air live on E! and USA Network on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The event, honoring top cinematic, televised, and streaming achievements, including four new categories this year, will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
In the film categories, Sinners leads with 17 nominations, followed by One Battle After Another, which earned 14 nominations at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards. On the television side, the limited series Adolescence earned the most nominations with 6 nods, followed by the comedy series Nobody Wants This, which received 5 nominations.
