Sporting an all black fit with a shiny silver chain, Jungkook’s stylish look caught everyone’s eye. But soon, the talk deviated to his visuals. Social media timelines filled up with mixed takes, with some saying he looked unlike his usual self. Meanwhile, others are speculating on probable tweaks to his features.

Amid the backlash, fans rallied to his defense, adding that the K-pop idol’s nose remains intact.

Fans are pushing back hard against the online chatter about Jungkook’s looks. Many pointed out that any nose work would leave swelling that takes months to fade, which doesn’t line up with his recent public impressions.

They also reminded people that lighting, camera angles, or even a few pounds gained or lost can easily shift how someone’s face appears. Supporters argue that his features appear unchanged, noting that these surgery claims overlook basic anatomy.

Others commented that he’s growing older, and with that, his features are bound to change and look more mature over time.

Jungkook made a rare public appearance at the VIP premiere of The First Ride in Seoul to back fellow 97-born idol, Cha Eun-woo of ASTRO, who currently serves in the military. To mark his friend’s absence, the Bangtan Boy arrived carrying a life-size cutout of Cha, posing with it for photographers.

Jungkook also drew reactions online for saluting the doll. The red carpet affair was filled with high-profile names, including his bandmates RM, j-hope, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. She attended despite her packed DEADLINE touring schedule.

Directed by Nam Dae-jung, the film follows a group of longtime friends embarking on their first overseas trip, which leads to a series of unforeseen moments. Alongside Cha Eun-woo, the cast features Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa.

Cha plays Yeon Min, a homebody with dreams of becoming a global DJ. The role marks his first lead in a feature flick. As for the True Beauty star, he began his mandatory military service on July 28 this year. He completed training at the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam, before beginning active service with the band.

The First Ride's premiere took place ahead of its nationwide release on October 29th.
