According to Raducanu, tennis stars shouldn't be complaining about the schedule, given they make a good living out of the sport. Raducanu cited their luxurious situation as opposed to someone working in the office and constantly having to hear from his/her boss.

“I don’t necessarily think it’s something to complain about because it’s what we are given," Raducanu said via The Guardian. "And we are making a great living as well. I mean it’s not all glamorous. There are definitely times when it’s very difficult and we are flagging mentally, physically, everything hurts. But at the same time what are we going to do about it? I am sure there are certain people who go to work and their bosses make them do something, but they have to do it, it’s their job."

Raducanu's views were taken in a negative light among Reddit fans, who feel Carlos Alcaraz & Co. are right in speaking out against the demanding season.

"I appreciate her ability to have consistently bad takes," one fan wrote.
"At this point I would be more surprised if she gives us a valid take," another commented.
"(A lot of which is from sponsors and interviews and shit) In fact, i see her most of the time without a racquet in her hand," one fan posted.

"Bruh you play, like, 5 tournaments a year - of course the schedule isn't a bother," one fan reacted.
"And you have to go deep in all the tournaments for it to matter to bring up to complain," one fan said.
"and she's a massive outlier in terms of making a living. if tennis winnings was her only income she'd not be saying this," another added.

Emma Raducanu asks to set a better example for upcoming generation

Emma Raducanu spoke about the constant complaining made by several tennis stars regarding scheduling. Raducanu shared a way they can make their case while also setting a better example for the younger generation.

"If we put up a front that isn’t complaining, I think that is a better example to the people watching, trying to get into tennis, the younger people," Raducanu added. "If they see all the top players moaning about the calendar, I don’t think that’s necessarily inspiring to look up to.”

Raducanu is among the few athletes who don't have a lot to complain about the demanding season and over-scheduling.
