World Tennis League 2025: Format

Teams will play each other in a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the championship round. Each tie will consist of four sets, one each of men's and women's singles, the other two consisting of either men's or women's doubles, or mixed doubles. The doubles sets will be at the discretion of the team that wins the coin toss.

Every game in a tie is worth one point. The team with the most points at the end wins the tie, so every game counts. The match goes into overtime if a team that was trailing comes back to win the fourth set. If the leading team wins one game in overtime, the tie ends in their favor.

If the overall score remains tied even after overtime, a super tie-break will come into the picture. The first team to 10 points will then claim the tie, and the team will also score two bonus points. Matches will follow the traditional scoring system during a set, with a golden point at deuce and a tie-break at 6-6.
