Taylor Fritz ended with a 1-2 record in the group, matching De Minaur. The two also have the same set win-loss record (3-4). However, the American trails the Australian in the percentage of games won. Fritz's 36-39 record falls just short of De Minaur's 37-39, dropping him temporarily to the third spot in the group.

Fritz began his campaign with a straight-set win over Musetti. He then lost back-to-back encounters against Carlos Alcaraz and Alex de Minaur.

Lorenzo Musetti began his campaign in Turin with a disappointing loss against Taylor Fritz. He then made amends against Alex de Minaur and defeated the Australian in three sets.

If Musetti beats Alcaraz in the final group match, both players will finish with two wins and one loss each, eliminating De Minaur. In that case, the Italian would top the group with a superior head-to-head record, and Alcaraz would qualify in second.

If Alcaraz wins the match, he will top the group with three victories. Musetti would be eliminated along with Fritz, while De Minaur would advance to the semifinals.

Alcaraz leads the head-to-head against Musetti 6-1. He has already defeated the Italian three times this year.
