Iga Swiatek is usually known for her calm and composed demeanor, but even she has moments when her patience is pushed to the limit. Such an incident occurred during the 2025 WTA Finals when she lost her cool and yelled at the umpire, demanding that a disruptive fan be removed from the stands.Swiatek qualified for the WTA Finals this year as the World No. 2, but she has so far struggled to maintain her form and hasn’t quite looked like herself on the court. She was placed in the Serena Williams Group along with the likes of Elena Rybakina, Amanda Anisimova, and Madison Keys. The Pole began her campaign with an impressive 6-1, 6-2 win over Keys, but couldn’t carry that momentum forward when she faced an in-form Rybakina, losing 6-3, 1-6, 0-6. Her next challenge came in a do-or-die clash against Anisimova, and despite putting up a valiant fight, Swiatek fell short once again, losing 7-6(3), 4-6, 2-6 on Wednesday, November 5, which marked her exit from the year-end tournament.During her match against Amanda Anisimova, at the start of the second set, Iga Swiatek lost her composure for a brief moment as she demanded that a spectator be removed from the stands. The Pole walked up to the umpire and angrily complained that a drunk male fan had been repeatedly shouting during her second serve, disrupting her focus."He is clearly drunk. Can you kick him out? He is disturbing the game. He is shouting during the second serve," Swiatek told the umpire.Watch the incident below:The match lasted two hours and 36 minutes, with Amanda Anisimova narrowly edging out Iga Swiatek by winning 107 points to 103.
