Sinner and Zverev locked horns in the semi-final round of the Paris Masters on November 1. The Italian produced an impressive performance, registering a dominating 6-0, 6-1 victory. With this win, he advanced to the finals, where he will be meeting Felix Auger-Aliassime.

The semi-final round garnered the attention of the tennis enthusiasts, who slammed Zverev for his upsetting loss. The Tennis Letter shared Sinner's win on X, highlighting his achievements throughout the year in the caption. They wrote:

Fans reacted to this post, taking a dig at Zverev. Earlier this year, in July, the latter issued a comment, hinting that he has what it takes to dethrone Sinner and Alcaraz, as he stated that he hopes to 'spoil their party.' Emphasizing this statement, one of the enthusiasts on X took a jab at the German, writing:

Expressing happiness over Zverev's loss against Sinner, one of the fans commented:

“Yeah, I mean Jannik is, I said it yesterday, he's kind of my kryptonite. I don't like playing him. I mean, he's somebody that kind of had my number for the last couple of years and yeah, very pleased with the win for sure. And against Jannik, I mean, we had a fantastic match last Sunday, so you know, I'm just happy to be on court with him again and hopefully share another great match," said Alexander Zverev.
