Evert's take stemmed from Swift 'giving space' to her boyfriend to enjoy his team's victory. The former WTA No. 1 wrote on X (formerly Twitter):"She’s just…. Awesome….giving him his space….#muchrespect"Several fans proceeded to echo Evert's sentiments."I told my husband the same thing. She knows she’s a distraction and she could have tried to still his thunder but instead walked away, gave him his space. Love that 🫶🏼," one wrote."Such an unselfish move on her part. It was so good to see," commented another."Yes! They are so perfect for each other. Both in the limelight yet they know how to share it," another fan chimed in.Danielle Collins, like the legendary Evert, is fond of Swift as well. Last year, the Newsweek article titled, 'Taylor Swift Is Not a Good Role Model', was labeled an 'irresponsibly' crafted piece of content by the 2022 Australian Open runner-up. Collins also candidly laid bare her dislike for the article by stating how she couldn't find it in herself to say what she really felt about the author who wrote it.
