Taylor Fritz shares rare glimpse of dad life as he proudly cheers son Jordan on at his soccer game

Taylor Fritz has shared images of attending a soccer match featuring his son Jordan on social media, where the American ATP star cheered his son on from the sidelines. According to Fritz, Jordan scored an impressive goal during the match as well.

On Sunday, December 14, the World No. 6 tennis took to his Instagram story and shared a brief video of his son playing the soccer match. Jordan, wearing the number '19,' could be seen receiving a short pass from a corner kick and then producing an accurate pass to a teammate.

Through the in-video caption, Taylor Fritz laid bare the pride he felt in watching his 8-year-old son impress on the soccer pitch. He also claimed that Jordan was one of the scorers in the match, but he regretted not recording the moment.

"LETS GO 19 (he just scored a sick goal but wasn't filming it)," Fritz captioned the post.

Jordan is the son of Fritz and his ex-wife, Raquel Pedraza. Fritz and Pedraza's romance began in their high school years, with the couple eventually tying the knot in 2016. In January the very next year, Fritz, only 19 at the time, became a father as Pedraza gave birth to Jordan. However, the marriage didn't last long, as the couple divorced in December 2019 when their son Jordan was only a two-year-old.

Subsequently, the ATP star began dating Morgan Riddle in 2020 after the pair met on a dating app. Fritz and Riddle's romance is still going strong, with the latter having established herself as one of the most prominent influencers within the tennis ecosystem.

Earlier this year, Taylor Fritz gave an interview to GQ Magazine where the 28-year-old revealed that he has given a few tennis lessons to his son Jordan. He also playfully disclosed how the eight-year-old wasn't too happy about the American's World No. 4 ranking at the time.

"With my son, I’ve definitely given him lessons. I’d love to be the tennis coach. But with all the travel, with tennis, I’m just not there yet. He’s pretty unimpressed by me being number four in the world," Fritz said.

The 2025 tennis season ended on a disappointing note for Taylor Fritz, with the American crashing out of the year-end ATP Finals following two Round Robin phase losses to Carlos Alcaraz and Alex de Minaur.
