Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle laid bare her devastated state of mind on the back of the shocking Bondi Beach mass shooting incident in Australia that has so far claimed 15 lives. Riddle has had numerous past travel experiences in Australia, with the American influencer having accompanied her ATP star boyfriend for tournaments there.
On Sunday, December 14, two gunmen, a father and son duo, opened fire at an event in Bondi Beach, which took place to usher in the Jewish festival Hanukkah. The 50-year-old gunman father died at the scene. Meanwhile, his 24-year-old son is currently in hospital, reportedly in critical condition. A 10-year-old girl was among the innocents who lost their lives in the tragedy, which the Sydney police is treating as a terror attack.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle took to her Instagram Stories and shared a brief video of the picturesque Bondi Beach. Through an in-video caption, a clearly devastated Riddle sent her love to Australia, writing:
"My favorite place in the world. Today feels so so dark. Love you Oz 🤍"

Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle revealed her favorite destinations in Australia earlier this year

In the buildup to the 2025 Australian Open, Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle sat down for an interview with Harper's BAZAAR Australia. Here, she was asked about her favorite places and experiences in the country. In her response, Riddle named iconic Melbourne art museum National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) along with a few places to eat, drink and shop, saying:
"I adore the NGV — every time I’ve come I’ve been impressed with the curations they have and the temporary exhibits. Last year, the museum had a temporary exhibit titled “My Mommy” by Japanese artist Yoko Ono and I’ve never had an art piece make me cry like that. I also always recommend Hikari for matcha and Incu for shopping. For dinner recs — this year I tried Maison Bâtard and Reine & La Rue and both were wonderful."
On the tennis front, Taylor Fritz, the World No. 6 in men's singles, is set to return to Australia soon for the start of the 2026 tennis season. The American will represent the USA at the United Cup before beginning his preparations for the 2026 Australian Open.
