PICTURES: Paula Badosa becomes latest tennis star to land in Maldives, kicks off her getaway with gym session

Paula Badosa has also chosen the Maldives as her offseason vacation place, like numerous other tennis stars, like Aryna Sabalenka, Donna Vekic, Anastasia Potapova, Tallon Griekspoor, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

To relax over the offseason, Badosa has chosen to stay at Patina Maldives, a five-star private island resort with beach views and overwater villas. On Sunday, Badosa dropped an update from the island.

In the first photo, she was captured from behind, overlooking sea, white sand, and palm-studded resort pathways. She was also carrying a large bag over her shoulder. She captioned the moment and tagged the resort:

"Woke up here 💙 @patinamaldives."

Just minutes later, she posted another update. She uploaded a black-and-white shot inside the resort gym. The caption includes a timestamp, 08:01, hinting that she began her day with an early morning workout.

Paula Badosa makes her relationship status clear with bold message on her 28th birthday

Paula Badosa turned 28 on 15th November, 2025. She was with Stefanos Tsitsipas earlier this year, but by the latest update, it appears the couple have once again broken up, and the birthday post was the official confirmation.

Badosa shared several photos from the birthday celebration. In one photo, she is wearing a sash that reads "Sexy & Single," along with decorations saying, "28 and still a 10." Her birthday cake had the following message on:

"older and hotter than ever"

It was a clear update, saying that Badosa is currently not dating anyone.

"Chapter 28, here we go! Heart full…Thank you to the ones who made it so special ❤️ Love you. Chapter 28 here we come. Heart is full... Thanks to everyone who made it so special 💫 I love you" she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas himself has also given his confirmation that he's currently single when a reporter approached him at the airport in Athens. He said:

At the moment, I'm single, so I don't know what you are talking about."

Tsitsipas and Badosa were both together in April, actually, as they went to the Laureus World Sports Awards together in white outfits. Wedding rumors were in the air at the time.

“White is my favourite colour. That’s also why I like Wimbledon,” Tsitsipas said.

“Maybe a Greek colour. It’s very Greek vibes,” Badosa added. “It’s a Greek colour, Greek wedding.”

But with the latest social media update from Badosa and Tsitsipas' interview at the airport, the couple is no longer together.
