She also registered early exits at all four Majors. Ostapenko was eliminated in the first round of the Australian Open, Wimbledon Championships, and the US Open. She managed to reach the third round of the French Open but lost to Elena Rybakina in straight sets.The Latvian's only clinical run came at the Stuttgart Open in Germany. She defeated Emma Navarro and Iga Swiatek in the initial few rounds and then overpowered Aryna Sabalenka in the final. Ostapenko defeated the Belarusian in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.Here's what she said after winning the title in Stuttgart:"Honestly, I didn't tell to anyone, I was keeping it to myself, but I felt very confident since the first day.
