The former tennis pro retired earlier this year in front of her home crowd at the Canadian Open. She claimed the 300th win of her career by beating Emiliana Arango in the first round before going down to Belinda Bencic in the second round.Bouchard's younger brother, Will, is accompanying her on her island getaway. She has been documenting their adventures over the past few days, though her latest post on Instagram features her front and center without her sibling. She has now completely devoted herself to pickleball, and has turned out to be quite good at it. She has established herself as a force to be reckoned with on the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), peaking at No. 9 in the singles rankings so far.Eugenie Bouchard is yet to hoist the winner's trophy in her new career. However, she recently came quite close to doing so a couple of months ago in Las Vegas, finishing as the runner-up. She also brushed shoulders with tennis royalty in Sin City earlier this year.Bouchard partnered Andy Roddick for the Pickleball Slam 3 earlier this year, and the duo went down to tennis power couple Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf. The Canadian is clearly thriving in her new environment, and tennis seems to be a fond yet distant memory for her.
