Anastasia Potapova was recently in Dubai for more than just business. The Russian tennis pro last featured at the China Open and her latest update came from Dubai.

On Wednesday, the World No. 51 dropped photos from her ongoing vacation. She was snapped in a sporty white-and-blue bikini top and a beige crochet mini skirt. Moreover, she accessorized her outfit with gold jewelry, rose-tinted sunglasses, and a sleek ponytail hairstyle.

She also shared a moment where she can be seen playing in the water while hanging onto her yacht. She captioned the post:

"On Wednesdays we do yachts 🛥️🩵 @eliterentalsdubai"

Just a week ago in the Maldives, she posted about her downtime, including photos from her adventure on a jet-ski and a bicycle.

"Kinda busy…😇🐬🐢🐠🐚" she captioned the post.

Earlier in November, she visited Amsterdam, Netherlands, posing in a black outfit and denim jeans.

Anastasia Potapova's 2025 season ended early after lingering wrist injury

A lingering wrist injury drew the curtains for Anastasia Potapova in 2025 after her last appearance in the China Open. The Russian pro was dealing with the injury since July, and the pain proved to be too much to overcome, resulting in her decision to shut down the season early.

"Unfortunately, I was forced to withdraw from the last two tournaments this season due to an injury I picked up in Montreal (in July – RBC ). Perhaps I didn't show it at times, but I've been experiencing persistent pain in my right wrist ever since," Potapova wrote on her Telegram channel.

"I want next year to be full and successful. As experience has shown, even with poor training due to injuries, I can compete at the highest level," she added.

This year, Potapova won her third WTA singles title at the Transylvania Open in Cluj-Napoca. She defeated Lucia Bronzetti 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 in the final. Earlier in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, she defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-3, 6-0 to reach the second round.

In China, she lasted until the fourth round. She last defeated Zeynep Sonmez in straight sets.

However, there were also a few tournaments where Potapova was forced to skip due to health concerns. Among them was the Stuttgart WTA 500 event, which she missed because of a wrist injury. She also pulled out of tournaments in Berlin and Eastbourne due to "a small muscular injury." Finally, she called it quits on the 2025 season in October.
