Amanda Anisimova shared endearing snaps of spending quality time with her family after WTA Finals heartbreak. The tournament was held from November 1 to 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Anisimova delivered a strong performance throughout the WTA Finals, reaching the semi-finals. However, the American lost to Aryna Sabalenka, who went on to win 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 to clinch the title. After this upset, the 24-year-old went into her off-season and recently shared glimpses of her family on her Instagram story.

The World No. 4 is currently recovering from her WTA Finals heartbreak by spending some time with her family. She posted an adorable video of her playing with two kids in a garden and wrote:

Amid her WTA Finals campaign, Anisimova shared a message for young and aspiring tennis players while she was in a conversation with Reem Abulleil for The Guardian. Drawing from her experience, she said:

"I think it’s really important to let girls know, or boys, to make the right decisions for yourself and listen to yourself and not try and say yes to everything and feel like you have to do certain things. I think that’s a big killer in certain ways, is just feeling like you have to do certain things and that can really lead to burnout."

Amanda Anisimova opens up about her loss at the WTA Finals semi-finals

Amanda Anisimova made her feelings known about her loss against Aryna Sabalenka in the semi-final round of the WTA Finals. She sat for a press conference, where she said that the match was like a roller coaster for her (via Tennis World)

“I think I played good tennis at points in the match. And at some points there was a drop. It was kind of like a roller coaster. There are things I can learn from this match but it’s too soon to process it," said Amanda Anisimova.

Along with this, Sabalenka also spoke about the American's 2025 season, lauding her performance throughout.

“I told Amanda she should be proud of her season. She played incredible tennis the whole season and it’s just the beginning. I know right now she’s probably disappointed, but many more things are coming her way for sure," said Sabalenka.

Amanda Anisimova opened her 2025 season by competing at the ASB Classic, where she couldn't advance past the first round. She lost to Alycia Parks in the opening match.

She won two titles this season, including the Qatar Open and the China Open. In addition, the 24-year-old reached the finals of two majors, including the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open.
