While she may not have won a Grand Slam title, she won her first WTA 1000 title at the Qatar Open in February and another one at the China Open. She was born in Russia but immigrated with her husband, Konstantin "Konstan" Anisimov. Anisimova's father helped coach and manage Amanda’s early tennis career.
