Paula Badosa, Nick Kyrgios, Daniil Medvedev and other tennis stars have received a hearty reception upon their arrival in India for the World Tennis League 2025. The fourth edition of the exhibition event will be held at the SM Krishna Stadium in Bengaluru, India, following three successful outings in the United Arab Emirates.
The tournament will run from December 17-20, and players have landed in the country over the past two days. The World Tennis League's social media feed is filled with players being welcomed and taking part in promotional events for the tournament. Marta Kostyuk,Elina Svitolina, Medvedev, and others can be seen participating in the same.

The tennis pros have also taken to social media to document their escapades around the city before the start of the tournament. Kyrgios has been hitting the usual tourist spots, and shared a photo of himself outside the Bengaluru Palace.

The World Tennis League's India debut features a mix of top names from all over the world along with homegrown talent. The group stage will take place from December 17-19, followed by the final featuring the top two teams on Saturday, December 20.

The World Tennis League has always attracted some of the biggest names in the sport since its inception. The 2025 edition of the tournament is no different. Former World No. 1 and US Open 2021 champion Daniil Medvedev headlines the event this time.
Former top 10 players Elina Svitolina, Gael Monfils, Denis Shapovalov, and Paula Badosa are some of the other notable names in the fray. Indian doubles stars Rohan Bopanna and Yuki Bhambri are among the top names from the host nation to compete.
Monfils and Badosa will lead Team Eagles, along with Sumit Nagal and Shrivalli Bhamidipaty. Medvedev and Magda Linette will be joined by Bopanna and Sahaja Yamalapalli in Team Falcons.
Shapovalov, Svitolina, Bhambri, and Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi will be a part of Team Hawks. Lastly, Nick Kyrgios, Marta Kostyuk, Dhakshineshwar Suresh, and Ankita Raina will lead Team Kites.
Badosa is the only player to be present for all four editions of the tournament so far. This will be the third appearance for Kyrgios, while Medvedev and Shapovalov will compete for the second time.
