On Thursday, November 20, Badosa posted pictures from the bowling alley. She reposted the Instagram story of Kamoun where Badosa can be seen touching the Tunisian's belly as if to suggest it was her baby. Karim called out Badosa, saying:

"It's my baby"

Badosa reacted in her repost:

"It's mine."

In other Instagram update, Badosa reshared a post from Jabeur where she calls the Spaniard for her unconventional bowling technique. Jabeur wrote:

Badosa reacted in her repost:

"Pls don't copy me."

Ons Jabeur last played at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, where she retired in the first round of her match against Viktoriya Tomova. She announced that she was going to take herself out of the tour to relax.

“For the past two years, I’ve been pushing myself so hard, fighting through injuries and facing many other challenges. But deep down, I haven’t truly felt happy on the court for some time now,” she wrote. “Tennis is such a beautiful sport. But right now, I feel it’s time to take a step back and finally put myself first: To breathe, to heal, and to rediscover the joy of simply living.”

The following month she announced her pregnancy with her husband Karim. Meanwhile, Badosa last played at the China Open before drawing curtains on the 2025 season due to chronic back pain.

Paula Badosa receives shout out for friendship from Ons Jabeur

Earlier this year, Ons Jabeur acknowledged Paula Badosa as one of her close friends on the tour. In her appearance in February on the Nothing Major podcast with John Isner, Sam Querrey, and Jack Sock, the Tunisian shared insights on her friendship with Badosa.

"I mean, I’m friends with Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka mostly, you know," Jabeur said via tennisuptodate. "We don’t hang out a lot, I probably hang out more with Paula Badosa, but, you know, we talk about stuff, we get each other’s opinion about the tour and everything around it. We gossip."

While Jabeur will be busy taking care of herself in pregnancy, Badosa is recovering from her back and hopes to return soon.
