Jannik Sinner recently revisited dancing with Iga Swiatek on the back of their respective title triumphs at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. Sinner won his maiden men's singles title at the prestigious grass Major this year after defeating rival Carlos Alcaraz in the final. Meanwhile, Swiatek captured the women's singles title at SW19 for the first time following a one-sided final against Amanda Anisimova.

The Italian ATP star and the Polish WTA icon later dressed up and headed to the Champions' Dinner, where they briefly took to the stage and danced their heart out to celebrate their monumental Wimbledon triumphs. In a recent conversation with Sky Sports Italy, Sinner recalled his dance with Swiatek. According to the reigning ATP No. 1, he had a drink before the "cute" dance.

"I had a little drink before it, but it was cute, it was nice!," Sinner said.

"Jannik Sinner and I debated whether to dance or not" - Iga Swiatek on Wimbledon dance with Italian

In an interview with TVP Sport following her title-winning run at this year's Wimbledon Championships, Iga Swiatek revealed how she and Jannik Sinner were initially somewhat unsure about dancing together. However, according to the Pole, the organizers, coupled with Sinner's desire to dance, convinced her to hit the stage with the Italian.

"So Jannik and I debated whether to dance or not. Later, the organizers arranged our conversations so that we both finally agreed. I think Jannik was also relaxed and wanted to dance. The dance itself turned out great. I knew it wouldn’t be anything complicated, more like a little swaying from foot to foot, so that made it a bit easier," Swiatek said.

At the moment, both Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are eyeing positive ends to their respective 2025 tennis seasons. While the Italian has arrived in Turin to prepare for his title defense at the ATP Finals, the Pole is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to keep her hopes at the WTA Finals alive.

Swiatek began her WTA Finals campaign with a dominant group stage win against Madison Keys. However, in her next group phase match, the Pole shockingly squandered a one-set lead against Elena Rybakina, with the Kazakh ultimately going on to dominate the Pole across the second and third sets.

Interestingly, Swiatek needs to come out on top against her 2025 Wimbledon final opponent, Amanda Anisimova, in her third group stage encounter to progress to the last four in Riyadh.
