Martina Navratilova furiously hits back after being accused of supporting men in women's sports

Martina Navratilova took a dig at a fan for accusing her of supporting men in women's sports. The former tennis player often voices her opinions about the ongoing political shenanigans and more.

Navratilova was recently involved in an online spat after the comedian Lou Perez on X called her out for supporting Democrats. He trolled her for supporting the party even after she was against biological male transgender people gaining access to women's spaces. In their heated conversation, Perez shared the screenshot of Navratilova's X bio that read:

"voting blue despite the Dems stance on women’s sex based spaces."

Responding to this, Navratilova clearly mentioned her point of not supporting men in women's sports, writing:

"I agree with the Dems on just about every single issue but one- while I strongly disagree with Trump and his sycophants on every single issue but one. Ok?!?"

Shortly after this, one of the users on X shared an article about this conversation and wrote:

"Martina votes for men in womens sports. Disgusting!"

Infuriated with the accusation, Martina Navratilova hit back at the user, writing:

"Are you really this stupid? Apparently so."

The Czech-American often strongly voices her opinion against Donald Trump and his government. She recently called him 'stupid' and 'delusional' after his shocking depression claim about tariffs.

Martina Navratilova reacted to IOC's potential ban on transgender athletes from all female Olympic events

The 2024 Paris Olympics saw major controversies when Algeria's Imane Khelif and Taiwan's Lin Yu-Ting won gold medals despite allegedly failing their gender eligibility tests. Multiple prodigies, including Martina Navratilova, raised their voices against this.

More than a year after this controversy, news of a potential ban on biological males competing in women's events was announced. The IOC Director of Health, Medicine, and Science, Dr. Jane Thorton, scientifically proved that biological males have an advantage over women, and hormone treatment cannot alter them entirely. This led to the potential ban.

This news garnered the attention of Martina Navratilova. She reshared the news on her X wall and penned a one-word reaction that read:

"Hallelujah!!!"

However, a final decision is yet to be announced by the International Olympic Committee. Reportedly, it might get announced at the 145th IOC session in Milan.

Earlier this year, in June, Martina Navratilova slammed the inclusion of five transgender players in the Women's Pro Disc Golf Championships. These players reportedly took home $5000 prize money, which was for the female players.
