Martina Navratilova threw caution to the wind as she lashed out at Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles after the latter issued a strongly-worded statement against immigrants in the USA. The Czech-American tennis legend herself famously fled communist Czechoslovakia in 1975 and sought refuge in the USA, where she was eventually granted citizenship six years later.
On Tuesday, Ogles, the 54-year-old Republican and businessman, took to X (formerly Twitter) and controversially opined that the birth of the USA stemmed from the work of "settlers and missionaries". Going on to demand the Donald Trump administration to deport 'entitled' illegal immigrants, Ogles wrote:
"America was founded by settlers and missionaries, not immigrants. Coming to America was always about duty, not entitlement. Deport all illegals!"
Later that very same day, fierce Trump critic and tennis legend Martina Navratilova caught wind of the 54-year-old's controversial post. The Czech-American, calling Ogles a 'liar', reacted:
"F**k off you lying POS!!!"
Navratilova, who is incredibly vocal when it comes to her support for a lot of liberal causes and her disdain for the Republican ideology, recently had a go at US President Donald Trump after he issued a rather polarizing take on the shooting of two National Guardsmen by an Afghan refugee in the vicinity of the White House.
Martina Navratilova declared US President Donald Trump as "greatest national security threat"

Donald Trump condemned the previous Joe Biden administration in the wake of the tragic shooting of two National Guards near the White House. One of the shot Guards, Sarah Beckstrom, succumbed to her her injuries, while the other, Andrew Wolfe, continues to battle for his life in hospital.
"This attack underscores the greatest national security threat facing our nation. The last administration let in 20 million unknown and unvetted foreigners from all over the world, from places that you don't even want to know about. No country can tolerate such a risk to our very survival," Trump stated.
Trump's controversial take, unsurprisingly, was covered by numerous media publications, of which The Economist was one. Navratilova, after reading the US President's words, opined that Trump himself is the "greatest national security threat" to America.
"Our greatest national security risk is trump himself, with Hegseth right behind him," the Czech-American wrote.
Navratilova previously admitted that she would, in all probability, not have fled to the from Czechoslovakia back in 1975 had a figure like Trump been running things in the USA then.
