Former tennis star Maria Sharapova's fiance Alexander Gilkes has reacted to Felix Auger-Aliassime's post on social media about his 2025 season. The Canadian capped off an incredible 2025 season with a semifinal showing at the ATP Finals, going down to World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. Despite the loss, he felt he has plenty to be proud about in a heartfelt post on social media. His post garnered plenty of attention, and Maria Sharapova's fiance, Alexander Gilkes, was among those to react to it.Auger-Aliassime started the year on a strong note, winning two titles from three finals. His form dipped in the middle of the season but there was an uptick in his results since August. He performed consistently since the Cincinnati Open, reaching at least the quarterfinals of every tournament until the end of the year.Auger-Aliassime took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the season gone by. He was grateful to end the year in good health, as well as his team that has stuck by him through thick and thin. They got engaged towards the end of 2024, and finally tied the knot a couple of months ago. Ghaibi has he own career as a professional equestrian. She is Auger-Aliassime's biggest cheerleader and is often seen supporting him during his biggest matches.The two already expanded their family in 2023 by adopting a dog, who they've named Timmy. After enjoying success and happiness on and off the court this year, the Canadian will be keen to continue the good times in 2026.
