Jannik Sinner is fresh off winning the Paris Masters and has reclaimed his No. 1 ranking from Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner's father, Johann Sinner, and mother, Siglinde Sinner, have played a major role in helping him reach where he is.Ahead of the ATP Finals in Turin, he was interviewed by Sky Sport, where he made a candid confession tying his mother's appearance in his tournaments and the unwelcome results. According to Sinner, whenever her mother comes to watch him, somehow he ends up on the wrong side of the results."When I started to play better, I'm talking about 2-3 years ago, Mom told me 'I don't want to be in your box, but if you make a Grand Slam final in Europe I want to be there!' Initially I laughed, I told her it would never happen," Sinner said."I reach the final in Roland Garros, I call her and she says 'I'm coming tomorrow' so she comes, she sits in my box and she watches a match where everything and more happened [laughs] but she stayed there! I told her that she survived that (so she can survive everything) In Rome she came to the tournament, she didn't watch any match but she was at the final. I lost it. In Paris she was there, I lost it."Sinner also recalled that earlier, when he made it to the Wimbledon championship final this year, her mother informed him about her arrival. However, Siglinde didn't know that this was her final chance to watch the match live if Sinner had lost."When she told me she would come to Wimbledon, I didn't tell her, but I wanted to tell her that it's her last chance!" Sinner added.Fortunately, this time, Sinner was able to win in her presence. So, it's safe to say that Siglinde can keep attending Sinner's matches in Europe.Jannik Sinner recalls touching moment with father at WimbledonJannik Sinner won his first Wimbledon title as he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the final by 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. It was Sinner's fourth Grand Slam title overall and his father, Johann Sinner, was also in attendance. After the match, the Italian shared a hug with his father, which was a rare occurrence. Talking about it, the World No. 1 said:“I really like that picture with Dad. The hug with Dad. Normally, it would be difficult for us to hug. But it’s good to see Dad happy. When I stepped on CC in Wimbledon, I remember I saw him looking for the first time like he thought I made it.”jannik files @jannik_filesLINK🦊: “I really like that picture with Dad. The hug with Dad.
