Coco Gauff is turning towards movie star and fashion diva Zendaya for inspiration when it comes to her struggles with rocking a high heel. The tennis pro has quickly established herself as a fashion icon with her on-court outfits. Her partnership with her long-time sponsor New Balance, along with their collaboration with high-fashion brand Miu Miu, led to some stunning ensembles.While Gauff isn't missing much when it comes to her attire, it's a different story when it comes to footwear. On the eve of receiving the Style Influencer of the Year Award from FN, the 21-year-old's interview with them was published in the December issue of the magazine.Gauff previously stated high heels were her demise, and found a middle ground with a platform heel. However, she can't rock those all the time either. She's trying to figure out how to be more comfortable in high heels like Zendaya, who seems to be at ease in them."I don’t mind a heel so much. I just prefer it to be a platform. But I’ve learned that can’t always be the case. I do love the look of it, it’s just the process is insane. After 10 minutes, I’m done. I’m still trying to figure out my endurance. I might need to be like Zendaya — I heard Law Roach had her walking around the house in heels [when she was younger]. Maybe I’m more of a kitten heel kind of girl," Gauff said.Heels may not be her thing but Gauff certainly has an eye for designing a catchy shoe. Her signature shoe with New Balance, the CG2, has been a massive hit for the brand.
