Taylor Fritz is currently one of the top men's singles players in the tennis world, and he's all for his children following in his footsteps when they grow up. The American recently opened up about his ambitions for his son Jordan as well as his future kids, while reflecting on the possibility of being a ‘tennis dad’.
Fritz is currently dating influencer Morgan Riddle, and the duo has been together since 2020. While Fritz and Riddle don't yet have children of their own, the tennis star is already a father, having welcomed his son Jordan with fellow tennis player Raquel Pedraza in 2017.
Recently, in an interview with GQ magazine, Taylor Fritz opened up about the possibility of his kids taking up tennis as a profession, saying,
“I would love to be a tennis dad. I’m sure if…when, we have kids, they will probably play tennis.”

He went on to add that he'd already started giving Jordan some lessons, despite the 8-year-old being ‘unimpressed’ by his father's ranking.
“With my son, I’ve definitely given him lessons. I’d love to be the tennis coach. But with all the travel, with tennis, I’m just not there yet. He’s pretty unimpressed by me being number four in the world,” Fritz said.
Fritz and Pedraza divorced in 2019, when their son was two years old. While the couple shares custody of their child, Jordan primarily lives with his mother.

During an interview with resident.com in 2022, Taylor Fritz opened up about his fatherhood journey. The American highlighted that one of the biggest joys of being a dad was watching his son embody his best traits, saying:
“Honestly, one of the best things about being a dad is just seeing my son mirror some of the best parts of who I am. He is not a carbon copy, and he is already definitely his own person. Watching him mature, navigate the world, and find joy in life is one of the best parts.”
Fritz went on to praise his son's soccer and tennis skills, adding:
“He is a remarkable kid and every day he seems to learn something new. He has gotten so much better at tennis and soccer and, of course, that is great. The best part is just spending time with him. I love him and care so much about him. I might be slightly biased, but he is just so damn cool!”
On the tennis end of things, Taylor Fritz was last seen in action at the Swiss Indoors, where he was knocked out in the second round by Ugo Humbert in a shock upset. Up next, the American will compete at the Paris Masters.
