2025 has been a memorable season for Ben Shelton, and the American believes it is mainly due to the people in his life. That includes his girlfriend Trinity Rodman, his father-coach Bryan, and his sister Emma.

Shelton finished 2025 in the top 10, rising as high as World No. 5 for a brief while to record his career high on the ATP Tour. He also overtook Taylor Fritz to be the American No. 1 during this time. Ultimately, his season ended at the ATP Finals in Turin, where three losses in three group stage matches saw him exit the tournament.

On Friday, November 28, the American No. 2 celebrated Thanksgiving with the rest of the country. On social media, he shared a lovely post celebrating the people he was 'thankful' for on the occasion, sharing a series of images.

Among the pictures was several of his romantic moments with USWNT and Washington Spirit star Trinity Rodman, whom he has been dating since March of this year. His father Bryan, who also serves as his coach, made the list as well, alongside his sister Emma Shelton, who stole the show with her appearance at the Wimbledon in 2025.

Ben Shelton also included images from his win at the Canadian Open this year, which marked his maiden Masters 1000 title win. Frances Tiafoe and Christopher Eubanks made the cut as well in the social media post.

Shelton, now ranked World No. 9, ended the 2025 season with 13-4 win/loss record at Grand Slams and a 40-24 record overall on the ATP Tour, both making for best records so far.

With the 2025 season over, Ben Shelton is currently in the off-season with the rest of the tennis world. However, he will play an exhibition soon, in the first week of December in Atlanta.

Taking part in the Atlanta Cup in its debut year, Shelton will be joined by Aryna Sabalenka, Nick Kyrgios and Naomi Osaka on December 6 (Saturday). The American is then expected to train for the start of the new season, which will see the Australian Open taking place in January.
