Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend & NCAA champ Ayan Broomfield gets hit with nostalgia as she returns to old stomping ground UCLA

Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, shared her feelings as she returned to the tennis courts at UCLA after a long time. She is a professional tennis player and has been dating the American since 2015.

Tiafoe turned pro in 2015 and has established himself as one of the best American tennis players of this decade. He achieved his career-best ranking, World No. 10 in the ATP men's singles, in June 2023. Tiafoe has won three singles titles and is a two-time semifinalist at the US Open.

Meanwhile, Broomfield, who has been inactive on the WTA Tour since November 2021, shared an Instagram video of her returning to the UCLA tennis court on Friday, November 11. The former UCLA athlete captioned her story, writing:

On her Instagram stories, the Toronto native also shared some old pictures of herself holding a tennis racket in the UCLA colors. She also reshared a video she uploaded on Instagram in January 2019. It featured UCLA tennis team players practicing at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.

Notably, Broomfield and her doubles partner Gabby Andrews won the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship for the UCLA Bruins in 2019. However, the 28-year-old last played a competitive tennis match during the ITF event in Florida in 2021.

On Tuesday, November 4, Frances Tiafoe and Ayan Broomfield attended EBONY magazine's Power 100 gala at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The couple turned heads as they posed for the cameras before attending the event to honor the "heroes of the Black community."

Frances Tiafoe and her girlfriend were joined by other sports personalities from the Black community at the gala. NASCAR's Bubba Wallace, the first Black driver to win the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, NBA Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, and Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin were also part of Ebony's Power 100 list.

Meanwhile, on the court, Frances Tiafoe was last seen in action at the Shanghai Masters in early October, where he suffered a first-round exit. Big Foe has had a poor 2025 season with a 26-23 record in the singles. Earlier this season, he reached the final of the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston, but lost to Jenson Brooksby in straight sets. Tiafoe's last title win on the tour came in June 2023, when he defeated Jan Lennard Struff to win the BOSS Open in Stuttgart.
