Frances Tiafoe has let his feelings known after his twin brother, Franklin, parted ways with Hailey Baptiste as her coach. The two families are quite close to each other, and the WTA star sees the twins as her real brothers. She added Franklin Tiafoe to her team earlier this year, and he guided her to a career-best season.

With Tiafoe in her corner, Baptiste peaked at No. 47 in the rankings, and made the fourth round of a Major for the first time at the French Open. Despite their success together, they have now parted ways. However, there's no bad blood between them.

Tiafoe shared an emotional message on Instagram about their split. He was extremely grateful to be Baptiste's coach. This only marked a pause in their professional relationship, and he will continue to be her biggest cheerleader from the sidelines, just as he did before he was her coach.

"This last year has been one for the record books and being able to do it alongside my sister was the biggest blessing I could ask for. Thank you Hailey for giving me the opportunity to prove not only to myself but the world I have something to offer the game of tennis that we all love. Our professional relationship has come to an end but I will still be your biggest supporter in every aspect of your life. Go team Baptiste 2026 is your season," Franklin Tiafoe on Instagram.

Frances Tiafoe left a comment on his brother's post, stating how proud he was of both for the work they put in over the past year. He added 2026 will be a great year for them. Baptiste also chimed in, expressing her love for her former coach.

"Year to be extremely proud massive thing ahead for both," Frances Tiafoe's comment.
"Love you Frank thanks for all that you do for me," Baptiste commented.

While Baptiste took her career to the next level this year, Frances Tiafoe regressed in many ways. A quarterfinal at the French Open along with a runner-up finish in Houston were the only highlights of his season, which he capped off with a year-end ranking of No. 30.

Tiafoe eventually shut down his season after the Shanghai Masters. He returned to action for a couple of exhibition events over the past week, and wound up winning both of them.

Frances Tiafoe's decision to wrap up the 2025 season already seems to be yielding great results. He beat Taylor Fritz to win the Charlotte Invitational on December 4. He followed it up with a win over Carlos Alcaraz to emerge victorious at A Racquet at the Rock on December 7.

While exhibition events don't necessarily indicate a player's true form, a win, especially over top players, is always a huge boost for one's confidence. Tiafoe will aim to continue this form for better results in 2026.

Tiafoe had a forgettable start to 2025, falling in the second round of the Brisbane International as well as the Australian Open. He will be keen to make amends in the new season with a strong showing Down Under.
