Jannik Sinner was recently unveiled as the face of Gucci's inaugural winter sports collection, with the unveiling featuring the Italian athlete skiing fearlessly down snowy slopes. The development comes days after Sinner's girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic, shared highlights from her recent skiing experience.

On Tuesday, Hasanovic, a Danish model and influencer, expressed her excitement for winter by sharing some cherished moments from her skiing adventures.

Two days later, Sinner shared two posts on Instagram. One of them was a video of him skiing, sporting gear and apparel from Gucci Altitude, the Florence-based luxury fashion house's first-ever winter sports collection.

"On the slopes for Gucci Altitude, the House’s first winter sportswear collection. The performance-led selection features a blend of form and function, with unique designs crafted in partnership with HEAD. #GucciAltitude @gucci"

The other post featured four pictures of Jannik Sinner from a photoshoot for the same collection.

"Always ready for the next ascent with Gucci Altitude, the debut winter sportswear collection by Gucci that combines advanced performance and signature codes with specially designed technical wear. #GucciAltitude @gucci"

Sinner has been a skiing enthusiast since his childhood, having grown up in the Italian Alps. Before he decided to pursue a career in professional tennis, the Italian was rising through the ranks in the country's skiing scene. Last year, he candidly spoke about how skiing still remains an important part of his life, particularly in terms of mental recovery.

During a press conference at last year's Miami Open, Jannik Sinner talked about his approach to skiing these days. According to the Italian, it's more of a recreational activity for mental rejuvenation rather than a competitive event because of the inherent risks involved.

"Sometimes it's good for my mental part to don't stay on the tennis court, doing some different things. Going to ski for me is always a relief. Images of back in the days comes in my head, going with the friends. That's so nice, no? Usually we make two days per year on the slopes. Even this year we went these couple of days," Sinner said.

"But you have to be careful. It's going fast that you fall and... Hopefully it's not going to happen that you break something. Big issues. I'm very calm on the skis now. I'm not like the young kid I was before," he added.

The four-time Major champion is participating in the 2025 Paris Masters, where he is set to face Francisco Cerundolo in the third round.
