Danielle Collins is set to get some help from former American pros in her search for a husband. The tennis star confirmed her breakup with Bryan Kipp in October, and soon after, her preferences for a partner surfaced through her dating app profile.
Until last year, Collins made several appearances with her then-boyfriend Kipp on the WTA Tour. She even praised him for helping her through her injuries. However, for unknown reasons, the pair has recently broken up.
During an appearance on 'The Gay Tennis Podcast,' Collins talked about being single and potentially appearing on 'The Bachelorette.' Days later, her bio on a dating app went viral. She wrote:
"Currently a professional tennis player, but kind of aspiring to be a trad wife. Straight up. Already had my boss babe era."
She added that she was hoping to "pop out some babies soon" while also declaring that it was a "no short kings zone."
During the recent episode of the Nothing Major Show, Sam Querrey revealed what the hosts, including Jack Sock and Steve Johnson, were planning for the next episode.
"We're also going to talk about Danielle Collins. Phenomenal player. She is actively looking for a husband. She has been talking about it on social media. We're going to do a little segment. We're hoping to take some applicants. We want to get some good quality men for her," Querrey said (from 26:40).
Further, they joked that they would review potential applicants, narrow them down to four or five, and then bring Collins on to meet them.
Jack Sock suggested turning it into a "bachelor bracket," where contestants would advance until one earned a date with her. This seemed like a reference to the 'Hottest ATP Players' bracket made by the show that had gone viral. They concluded with a warning that only men who match Danielle Collins’ quality should apply.
"I don't know if they can afford me" - Danielle Collins on her willingness to appear on a Reality TV show

During her appearance on 'The Gay Tennis Podcast,' Danielle Collins was asked if she considered playing a part in Reality TV. She said she would consider appearing on a reality TV show but joked that producers might not be able to afford her.
"I would consider maybe going on reality TV, but it depends. Like I don't know if they can afford me. Listen, you know what I mean? Cuz this comes, like this is like some blockbuster entertainment right here, right? You would have to really pay out the big bucks to get me on, like you know the Bachelorette and that kind of thing cuz yeah, I mean, I would definitely consider it, but where would I be doing the Bachelorette? Like which country do you think? Like Australia," she said.
In 2024, Danielle Collins announced the season would be her final one on the tour. She delivered spectacularly, winning the Miami Open and Credit One Charleston Open. She also reached a career-best year-end ranking of No. 11.
However, complications led her to opt to continue competing in 2025. Her form dipped compared with the previous year. She entered the season still strong but failed to capture titles, finishing 15-14.
