Coco Gauff was a little late to share, but she finally treated her fans with a series of photos from the 2025 WTA Finals official photoshoot. Her Instagram post featured three pictures in total. Two of them showed off her stunning Miu Miu dress, while the last one captured her standing alongside the other seven players competing in the season-ending event.
“4th year in a row✨ @wtafinalsriyadh ty @miumiu for this beautiful dress,” Gauff captioned her post.
Her post quickly went viral, drawing love from fans and friends alike. Coco’s mother, Candi Gauff, her boyfriend Jalen Sera, and fellow tennis stars Amanda Anisimova and Eva Lys were among those who couldn’t stop gushing over her look.
“@cocogauff ❤️❤️❤️,” Candi captioned her Story, resharing Coco’s IG post.

“Pop offf 🔥,” Anisimova commented.
“SLAY,” Lys wrote.
“Beauty queen,” @ravynlenae said.
“Love this look 😼😽😽,” @jamilahnicolee wrote.

Coco’s boyfriend, Sera, posted a GIF of several people holding up scorecards with perfect 10s.

Coco Gauff’s campaign didn’t get off on a high note. The defending champion was defeated by compatriot Jessica Pegula in her opening match. Still, since she managed to take one set, she sits just ahead of Jasmine Paolini in the group standings, as Paolini was unable to win a set in her first match against Aryna Sabalenka.
Coco Gauff expresses frustration after committing 17 double faults
Coco Gauff’s 3-6, 7-6 (4), 2-6 loss might not seem terrible at first glance, but it was far from her best effort. Per her high standards, the performance was disappointing, recording 17 double faults and 58 unforced errors throughout the match.
Following the loss, Gauff was extremely candid while being critical of her performance. She admitted frustration with her serve but also shed light on Jessica Pegula’s improvements since their last meeting in the Wuhan Open final, where Gauff won 6-4, 7-5.
"Obviously, little frustrated with the serve today," Gauff said. "Overall, it was a tough match for me. Jess played well and I thought she was playing a bit smarter than she was when we played in Wuhan."
Although losing to Pegula was discouraging, there’s still plenty of tennis remaining for Gauff to turn her fortune around. If she wins her next two group-stage matches, she still has a chance to reach the semifinals. Her next opponent is Jasmine Paolini, whom she beat less than three weeks ago, followed by a matchup against World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka.
