Coco Gauff's boyfriend, Jalen Sera, has reacted with a supportive message as the American tennis announced the ended her 2025 season on Instagram. Gauff posted a message highlighting her season after failing to reach the semifinals of the WTA Finals in Riyadh.

Gauff lost two group stage matches in the season-ending event on the WTA tour. However, she enjoyed a successful season, especially on clay, and clinched two titles, including her first Major at Roland Garros.

The World No. 3's season ended after her WTA Finals group stage loss against Aryna Sabalenka on Thursday, November 6. She took to Instagram to summarize her season, posting a picture of her Roland Garros celebration and a message to thank her supporters.

"My 2025 season is officially over and it was a longggg one,"Gauff wrote. "I played my first match of this season December 29th, 2024 and my last match of the season November 6th, 2025😳🫩."

Coco Gauff highlights her 2025 achievements after disappointing WTA Finals campaign

Coco Gauff entered the WTA Finals as the defending champion but had a disappointing end to her 2025 campaign. She lost the opening group-stage match against fellow American Jessica Pegula in three sets. She made a comeback by beating Jasmine Paolini in the next match in straight sets.

In her third and last match in Riyadh, the 21-year-old suffered a 7-6, 6-2 defeat against the World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. Despite a disappointing end to her 2025 season, Gauff stated that she felt proud of her achievements this season.

The two-time Grand Slam champion shared an Instagram story, highlighting her achievements in 2025. It included her triumphs in Roland-Garros and Wuhan, her runner-up finishes in Rome and Madrid, and others.

Coco Gauff finished the season as the World No. 3 in the WTA singles with a 47-14 record. She also partnered with McCartney Kessler at the Canadian Open to claim her 10th doubles title.
