Coco Gauff and Caroline Wozniacki reacted to Venus Williams' engagement after the seven-time Grand Slam winner kept it private for almost a year. Williams and Andrea Preti got engaged in January this year after dating since 2024.

Venus Williams was previously linked with millionaire Nicholas Hammond, model Elio Pis, and professional golfer Hank Kuehne, but none of the bonds lasted into the next phase of life. She was rumored to be dating Dutch-born Italian-raised actor and model Andrea Preti when the duo was spotted boating in Italy in 2024.

Cut to February 2025, Williams addressed Preti as her 'fiancé' during a post-match interview at the Washington Open, where she became the oldest player to win a singles match on the WTA tour. On December 2, 2025, the Olympic gold medalist shared pictures from her engagement day, and also specified the date.

The pictures showed the couple amid greenery, with their pet dog, posing on a balcony, among others.

Players like Coco Gauff and Caroline Wozniacki couldn't help but gush over the loved-up snaps of the player and her fiancé. Gauff showed her love with a couple of heart-eyed emojis, and Wozniacki joined forces with red hearts.

Williams returned to the sport this year after a significant break. She played in the US Open last, reaching the women's doubles quarterfinals but losing in the second round of singles.
