Coco Gauff's former coach, Brad Gilbert, had quite the reaction to the latest no-travel call against Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo in Tuesday's 121-111 win against the New York Knicks.

In the first quarter, Giannis took multiple steps (almost 5 to 6) after gathering the ball on the fast break, and the referees did not call a travel violation. As per NBA rules, players are only allowed to take two steps without bouncing after gathering the ball. Thanks to the potential ignorance of the NBA referee, the Bucks forward was able to get inside the paint and make a well-contested shot.

The clip of the same is going viral on the internet, and even Gilbert can't help but laugh at the no-travel call. He wrote:

"beyond comical traveling 🧳 @SharkoTennis"

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks from the front, finishing the game with 37 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Coco Gauff and coach Brad Gilbert parted ways last year after 14 months

Coco Gauff and Brad Gilbert joined hands in mid-2023 to raise the American to another level. Gilbert coached Gauff to multiple titles, including her first Grand Slam, the US Open in 2023, as she soared in career rankings as well.

However, despite the success, their relationship started to falter as Gauff was getting defeated in early rounds, including in her US Open defense.

Finally, on 18th September 2024, Gilbert officially announced that he was no longer coaching Gauff.

"Thanks to Coco Gauff and the entire team for an absolutely amazing summer run in 2023 and for 14 months of incredible team effort," he wrote on X. "Coco, at just 20 years young, your future is incredibly bright, and I wish you nothing but continued success ahead. I’m excited for the next chapter in my Coaching career."
