The ATP Finals 2025 semifinal line-up will be settled on Friday, November 14. Players from the Bjorn Borg Group, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and Felix Auger-Aliassime will take to the court for the last two matches of the round-robin phase.

The first singles match of the day will be between Sinner and Shelton. It will be a dead rubber as the former has already qualified and the latter has been eliminated. Sinner, the defending champion, advanced to the last four with straight sets wins over Auger-Aliassime and Zverev, while Shelton lost to those two.

Regardless of the outcome of Sinner's match, he is assured of leaving the group stage in first place. The other semifinal spot will go to either Auger-Aliassime or Zverev. The math is pretty simple here, win the match and progress further. There's no need to rack one's brains over the percentage of sets and games won.

Zverev leads Auger-Aliassime 6-3 in the head-to-head. The German won their first three encounters starting from 2019. He tasted defeat in this match-up for the first time at Wimbledon 2021, going down in a five-set thriller. They split their next two meetings.

Zverev won their next couple of matches in straight sets, with his win at the Miami Open 2024 being his sixth win in this rivalry. They crossed paths at the US Open earlier this year, their most recent showdown. Auger-Aliassime came out on top in four sets.

Auger-Aliassime will now aim to score consecutive wins over Zverev for the first time in his career. It won't be easy, considering the latter's record in this rivalry as well as at the ATP Finals. However, the Canadian will be keen to leave it all out on the court to end his season on a high.

Felix Auger-Aliassime made his debut at the ATP Finals in 2022. He failed to get out of the group stage back then, and didn't make the cut for the year-end championships for the past two years. He's back in the mix after a two-year gap, and will be eager to better his previous result this time.

Standing between Auger-Aliassime and a maiden semifinal at the ATP Finals is Alexander Zverev. The latter is no stranger to making a deep run at the season-ending championships. He hoisted the winner's trophy in 2018 and 2021, and made the semifinals in 2019 and 2024.

Whoever wins the final group tie between Auger-Aliassime and Zverev, will meet the winner of the Jimmy Connors Group in the semifinals. The semifinalists from the other group will be finalized by Thursday (November 13) evening.
