Jannik Sinner has successfully defending his title at the 2025 ATP Finals once again after defeating arch-rival Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5 in the final on Sunday, November 16. With the win, the Italian capped off an outstanding season in which he won two Grand Slams and came close to securing the year-end World No. 1 ranking, among other achievements.
Sinner’s triumph in Turin earned him a whopping $5,071,000 in prize money. Alcaraz also walked away with a sizeable total of $2,704,000, which included a $331,000 participation fee, $396,500 for each round-robin win, and $1,183,500 for reaching the semifinals.
Sinner’s paycheck comes from him being the undefeated champion, having not lost a single match throughout the tournament on his way to the title. He was placed in the Bjorn Borg group and began his campaign with a solid win over Alexander Zverev, followed by victories over Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime, before defeating Alex de Minaur in the semifinals.
Both of the other semifinalists, Auger-Aliassime and De Minaur, also walked away with sizeable paychecks. The Canadian earned a total of $1,124,000, which includes $331,000 as the participation fee and $396,500 for his two round-robin wins over Shelton and Zverev, with his only loss coming against Sinner. Similarly, De Minaur received the same participation fee, but with just one group-stage win against Taylor Fritz, his total paycheck came to $727,500.
Meanwhile, Fritz earned $727,500 after winning one group-stage match and losing the other two. Musetti finished with the same amount, as his results mirrored the American’s. Zverev also collected $727,500, while Shelton, who did not record a single win, left Italy with only the participation fee of $331,000.
